Why not join us?

TAC already has many talented performers, as you will have seen from recent shows, but we're always keen to encourage new members to join us. At audition everyone has an equal chance, and newcomers are often cast in principal roles. What matters is talent!

We need more members for our future shows and in particular, we need more men and more sopranos.  If you'd like to join the cast you can find out more information here.

Membership subscriptions are much less than some societies, presently £20 per year and for those on-stage an additional £10 for each show. These amounts are reduced by 50% for those in full time education.

If you'd rather help behind the scenes, get in touch at any time so that we can work out where you'd fit in best (set construction and painting; wardrobe; props; make-up; publicity etc).

Rehearsals take place each Wednesday (7.30 pm) at St. John Ambulance Headquarters, Moor St. and on Fridays (7.30-9.30) for principals (and occasionally chorus) at Lakeside School.
