“The Lines are now Closed”!

Tamworth Arts Club are thrilled with the overwhelming response to their  2010 Musical Theatre Vocal Competition!

During the first week in July,  49 young people between the ages of 15 and 25, from as far afield as Hereford, Leicester, Loughborough, Birmingham, Stafford, Uttoxeter, Nottingham and London  as well as the Tamworth/Lichfield Area will be performing from Musical Theatre and Opera as they vie for that     

First Prize of £1000

The Audiences are in for an absolute treat

Throughout the three nights of Sheer Entertainment  they will be wowed by these 49 talented young people performing  79 different “numbers” from 60 different shows/operas!  and  The diversity is remarkable!
It ranges from shows/operas as far afield as   “The Magic Flute” and “Funny Girl”, “Oklahoma” and “Wicked”,      “Yeoman of the Guard” and “We Will Rock You”, “Jesus Christ Super Star” and “Hairspray”    to all the other 52 in between!

Anyone who enjoys Musical Theatre/Opera performed to the highest of standards is encouraged,  on the experience of the past 16 years,   to book their tickets now!
